The Chancel Choir fills the role of our music leader during worship services. The choir performs a variety of musical styles from classical and traditional to gospel and praise. Membership is made up of singers from teenagers to adults, and is open to anyone interested in praising God through song. The choir year begins in September and runs through the first part of June.

The Gladden Ringers is our bell choir. The choir performs at various times throughout the church year from September to June. The church owns five octaves of bells and three octaves of chimes. The choir is made up of teens to adults.

The Cherub Bells is our bell choir for our preschoolers. They perform on small colorful bells designed for young children. This group gives our preschoolers a chance to make a joyful noise.

The Joyful Singers is a group designed for children in grades K-2, although older children would be welcome. The main focus of this group will be learning about God through music and having fun in the process. Children will learn songs specifically geared to the younger elementary age child and will not be dependent on the ability to read. We will concentrate on traditional bible school songs and songs that coordinate with the church school curriculum.

The Praise Power Choir is for youth in grades 3-8. This choir will focus on more challenging music in a variety of different styles from traditional to praise. We will learn music primarily in unison and two parts focusing on tone, blend and lyrics. This choir will give kids a chance to take part in leading worship through their gift of music and will be a great place to create strong social bonds.

The Tròcair Quartet is comprised of members (left to right): Dave Kerr, Erika O'Brien Mason, Robin Campbell, and Steve Earley. Founded in 2008, this a cappella group’s repertoire of gospel and sacred arrangements is based on unique harmony and syncopation. All four musicians are members of Dublin Community Church, and are of Scottish and Irish lineage. Tròcair in the ancient Gaelic language means “mercy, compassion.”
In addition to these performing groups, the music program offers performances by various soloists and instrumentalists throughout the church year. The music program is under the direction of Nancy Luikart. The vocal choirs are accompanied by our church organist, Mary Lynn Carothers.

Dublin Cleaners has been a strong community partner for nearly 30 years in Dublin, and a Columbus business icon since 1934. Once again, the Butler family has provided DCC-UCC with a generous discount for the pick-up, cleaning, delivery and re-hanging of all of the Church choir robes - that is over 60 robes, including the robes of our ministerial staff! Our sincere thanks to Greg, Margaret, Brian, & Laura Butler and their team for keeping DCC choirs looking good!
